Our Favorite 10 MEN KILLING THE GAME RIGHT NOW

We had to show love to the fellas.

1. PARTYNEXTDOOR
With the release of his latest single “Come and See Me,” everyone seems to have PARTYNEXTDOOR on their radar. Not only is he an amazing song writer for his contribution to Rihanna’s hit single “Work,” but he’s a male artist who’s proven his vocals. Even with the recent Kehlani incident, you can’t knock the hustle.

2. Elhae
Elhae, also known as “Every Life Has An Ending,” recently released his latest project entitled “All Have Fallen“. His sound can be closely compared to Jacquees and Bryson Tiller. XXL Magazine featured him as an artist you should know.
Maurice Moore has slowly been climbing his way to RnBass stardom. With over 100k plays on each song on his Soundcloud and a song paying homage to Kehlani, which ultimately got him on the radar, he’s been on the grind ever since.
After the release of his hit single “Don’t“, young Tiller has continued to stay active within the industry be traveling across the states and performing his debut project “Trap Soul.” Fans are waiting to see what his next project will include.
We have been introduced to Marc E Bassy on G-Eazy’s sophomore album. Bassy, however, has been in the music game for years. If you haven’t already, check out his project “East Hollywood.”
After leaving One Direction, Zayn Malik recently released his debut solo album “Mind Of Mines” via iTunes. The solo artist is off to a great start in merging into the industry since his independent kick-off.

7. Drake
Everyone loves Drake and he’s not new to the game but we have to acknowledge his work! Yet to disappoint on a project, “Views from the 6” will be dropping in April and music fans are impatiently waiting.

8. Tory Lanez
After the release of his single “Say It,” Tory Lanez has been touring all over the world. He’s another upcoming artist that contimues to showcase his great singing and rapping capabilities.

9. THE WEEKND
The Weeknd’s “Beauty Behind The Madness” album has simply reinforced his amazing vocal ability.

The MAJID JORDAN duo have been releasing some great visuals with the release of their project “A Place Like This’. The duo is a prime example of two people who compliment each other.

Do you care if your favorite artist has “ghostwriters”? (Poll)

Before Meek Mill and Drake, the world already knew about “ghostwriters” but  it seemed nobody was talking about the subject. You know, “keeping it under the rug.”  Most recently, controversy on ghostwriters and whether an artist can still be considered credible has stirred up music consumers.

Comedian Kevin Hart, for example, has come out to say that his team help him write his jokes after he was accused of having ghostwriters. Artists such as Kanye West, Puff and Rihanna have also been accused of stamping their names on material that wasn’t written by them. According to reports, ghostwriters have been common in the music industry since the 1970’s.

It’s fair to point out that ghostwriters know what they’re getting into. They do the work and get cut a check. Most ghostwriters are okay with the idea that they will get zero credit. So my question to you as the music consumer is: Do you care who’s writing your favorite artist’s songs?

Consider these points: Genre and lyrical content Would it be the same if an artist such as J.Cole or Kendrick, who talk about deep life issues, had ghostwriters compared to Rihanna? Are you a fan because of the way they perform a song or because of their written content?

Answer our poll and share your opinion on our comments!

Drake’s “Nothing Was The Same” Album Goes 3X Platinum

Nothing Was The Same

Here’s something else to add to Drizzy Drake’s music accomplishments list.

The Toronto native has been confirmed by the RIAA that his 2013 studio album Nothing Was The Same has officially gone three times platinum, making him to only artist thus far to solidified that status.

If you recall, the Recording Industry Association of America incorporated new streaming rules and regulations last month, which since then has allowed several albums to go platinum.

Congrats Drake, there’s no doubting that this accomplishment is quite impressive with the current market of album sales so far!

Now the question is when will we be getting Views From The 6, any thoughts?
