Watch the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on your phone or laptop

Just a few hours away from the Grammys! It’s going to be a great show this year. Although many celebrities won’t be present due to the #GrammysSoWhite boycott, we are still excited for some of the moments to come such as Kendrick Lamar and his 11 impressive nominations and Kehlani’s Best Urban Contemporary Album nomination.

The show kicks off at 8PM ET to 11:30PM ET on CBS. The pre-show started at 3:30PM ET and will go on until 6:30PM ET.

If you can’t watch the show on your TV, don’t worry because here are your options.

Kendrick Lamar Stands Loud & Proud For Compton In New Grammy Promo Video

Kendrick Lamar is stopping at nothing to prove that his streak of success is on a roll!

Today the 11 time GRAMMY nominee heads back to his hometown of Compton, California in a new promo video for the 58th GRAMMY Awards.

Wearing a Dodger blue baseball cap and a Compton sweatshirt, K. Dot takes us through the streets of his city as he marches with a crowd of people chanting “We gon’ be alright!”

In other related Kendrick news, the west coast rapper is set to receive the key to his hometown during a ceremony on February 13, before heading to the awards show two days later.

Pres. Obama thinks Kendrick would beat Drake in rap battle (VIDEO)

During the much anticipated live stream YouTube interview with Obama today, YouTube talent with over 3.7 million subscribers Adande Thorne asked the President who would win in a rap battle, Kendrick Lamar or Drake?

The 44th President of the United States went with Mr. How To Pimp A Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar.

Thorne opened up the platform to the viewers who pitched questions through the hashtag #YouTubeAsksObama.

You can check out question round at 26:00 in this video of the full interview. Although, it wouldn’t hurt to watch it all, Obama speaks on school shootings, spreading love and race.

Watch Kendrick Lamar Meet President Obama

A few months back, President Obama revealed that “How Much A Dollar Cost” was his favorite Kendrick Lamar song of 2015.

Fast forward to today and a video has circulated the internet, where K. Dot talks about meeting Obama. The meet-up happened back in October, when the Compton native flew to Washington D.C to meet face-to-face with POTUS at the White House.

According to sources, the “To Pimp A Butterfly” vocalist spoke to President Obama about being apart of his MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership program, among several other topics.

In the video, we see the 44th president of the United States and Kendrick Lamar reflect upon the importance of being a mentor, as he expresses his desire to “pay it forward” by helping someone else.

J Cole’s documentary to air January 9 on HBO

Set your TV’s to HBO on January 9 and follow rapper J.Cole along on his 2014 Forest Hills Drive tour.

The documentary, Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming special, will release in four parts which will show you the work behind Cole’s third album release, Forest Hills Drive, and highlight his humbling one-on-one fan relation as he personally visit fans to play his music for them. In one case, Cole tweeted that he was in Dallas and a fan responded she was too. Cole asked her to DM her address so he could come play her the album. Pictures captured the moment as Cole made himself comfortable at her house and played his album for her on headphones.

The North Carolina native is highly admired by his fans for his intimate small shows that give attendees the opportunity to connect with the rapper. Cole dropped Forest Hills Drive in December of 2014 with no promotion for the exception of his Twitter account.

Vimeo users got the advantage of being able to view the episodes in the last few weeks. Viewers can catch artists appearances by Wale and Kendrick Lamar, who joined Cole onstage during a show in L.A along with the BBHMM singer, Rihanna who shows Cole love backstage for his work ethic.
