Talib Kweli Calls Out Iggy Azalea Over Macklemore’s “White Privilege II”

Talib Kweli

Things are getting ugly for Iggy Azalea.

Talib Kweli was charged up on Friday (January  22), following the release of Macklemore’s new single “White Privilege II,” and especially after Iggy Azalea responded to the “supposed” diss track.

If you haven’t heard yet, Macklemore spits bars, as he raps, “You’ve exploited and stolen the music, the moment/ The magic, the passion, the fashion, you toy with/ The culture was never yours to make better/ You’re Miley, you’re Elvis, you’re Iggy Azalea.”

Kweli then slammed Azalea for apparently misinterpreting the track, as the Brooklyn rapper wrote:

Of course, the Australian rapper didn’t take it too lightly either, and shared her thoughts via Twitter too.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

Iggy Azalea says label won’t let her shine

Iggy Azalea shares on Twitter that her label Virgin EMI Records, who has artists such as Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, is not letting her shoot a video for her latest single “Azillion” because they felt the song didn’t make enough hype.

Azalea vented over a series of tweets.

As Khaled would say, “they don’t wanna see you shine.”

Though we won’t have any visuals for “Azillion” anytime soon, check out the audio.
