Festival season is fast approaching, and before you know it, you’ll have several events to attend.
Well, if you’re in England this summer, then you might was to check out Adele at this year’s Glastonbury Music Festival because the British singer has been confirmed as the final headliner for the event.
Taking place on Saturday, June 25 on the Pyramid Stage in England, the 27-year-old singer made the announcement during her sold-out show at London, as she told the crowd:
“Who’s going to Glastonbury this year? See you there. I’ll be there. I’ll be headlining on the Saturday night this year.”
During her announcement, the “When We We’re Young” singer also mentioned that she almost played the festival last year, but had to back out because her album wasn’t going to be out on time.
“I wanted to do it last year but my record wasn’t ready. And to the people who say I am too boring to headline, you’re more boring for moaning about me headlining.”
In addition to Adele, Coldplay and Muse will also take the stage at Glastonbury.
Congrats, we can’t wait!
As @Adele just announced live on stage in London, she will headline Saturday night at this year’s Glastonbury Festival!
