Big Sean Donates $10,000 To Flint, Michigan & Launches Heal Flint Kids Foundation

Big Sean

There’s no doubting that rapper Big Sean is always lending a helping hand, and today, the G.O.O.D. Music emcee has pitched in to help solve the Flint, Michigan water crisis.

The Detroit native and his non-profit organization, Sean Anderson Foundation, have partnered with CrowdRise to launch the #HealFlintKids campaign to help families with kids who have been exposed to toxic water in Flint.

To get the process going, Big Sean has made a personal donation of $10,000, which will benefit CFOGFM (Flint Child Health & Development Fund).

Sean took to Twitter to shares his thoughts as he wrote:

In a further statement, he continues as he mentions, “I am devastated by the water crisis that has put the entire city of Flint in a state of emergency,” said Sean. “In recognizing the great work that the Community Foundation of Greater Flint Michigan has been doing, it is my hope we can help by raising the money needed to ensure that the children who have been hit the hardest receive the care that they need today and well into the future.”

As you may know, Big Sean isn’t the only one giving his help to the state of Michigan. Just yesterday, Meek Mill donated 60,000 bottles of water and challenged his rival 50 Cent to do the same.
