Yesiin Bey formerly known as Mos Def seems to be in a sticky situation.
According to the Associated Press, the 90s rapper was arrested on Thursday (January 14), at the Cape Town airport in South Africa for using a fake passport.
News broke after a spokesman for the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa told AP that Bey was arrested for using what he called a “world passport,” which the airport wasn’t aware of it.
Minutes later, Tshwete later took to Twitter to address the incident. He mentioned how Bey and the family have less than 2 week to leave the country.
With regards 2 Mr Smith (Mos Def), SAPS has charged him with usage of fraudulent travel documents.The matter is currently before the courts
